Chestertons Polo in the Park to return to Fulham with Sharky & George family fun

Sharky and George Polo in the Park PreviewThe other day I spotted a picture of myself on Instagram trying to collect touchable bubbles on all 10 fingers. I was sitting in The Rosebery Lounge at beautiful Mandarin Oriental Hotel, enjoying their delicious afternoon tea menu and a Lanson Champagne tasting, but still managed to look incredibly focused on the bubble competition

The bubbles were a sneak peek of how popular children’s entertainment company Sharky & George can keep young and old entertained at the upcoming Chestertons Polo in the Park from 2-4 June in Hurlingham Park.

I realised when we were invited last year that the Sunday at Chestertons Polo in the Park was the ultimate family event in Fulham-the place to sip a glass of champagne while watching the action on the polo pitch or running around on an obstacle course and jumping on space hoppers with the little ones.

The Rosebery Lounge Mandarin OrientalThe programme last year included a Sharky & George pitch invasion on the Sunday morning, and the pitch invasion is back for 2016 with new fun activities. This year, there will be an Olympic twist, with everyone being allocated a team. There will be an attempt to set a world record in tug-of-war, lots of water bombs, a sock-grabbing competition, games with a huge parachute, and a race on space hoppers dressed as horses.

At the preview in Mandarin Oriental, Sharky from Sharky and George did a demonstration of the horse race and it looked pretty awesome – particularly since parents will be encouraged to join in too.

In fact, I think that’s what makes the action-packed Sunday morning at Chestertons Polo in the Park with Sharky & George stand out. It’s about getting everyone involved and enjoying an entertaining family day out in a unique setting.

Tickets for Chestertons Polo in the Park are on sale now. The Sunday is the day with the most activities for families, while the Saturday is the day we booked tickets for before having children
