0Pregnancy: Acupuncture with Emma Cannon
I came across my pregnancy journal the other week, where I’d written down keywords for every week of my pregnancy. At this time two years ago I was in the first trimester and some of the recurring keywords were ‘nausea’, ‘lower back pain’ and ‘acupuncture’.
I don’t think lower back pain is common to experience so early on, but nausea certainly is, and acupuncture was my way of dealing with it. I loved seeing acupuncturist Emma Cannon, based close to Sloane Square, and I felt so much better after every session.
I remember trying ginger biscuits without much success, and I was pretty desperate to find something else to avoid having my pregnancy affect work
Acupuncture worked really well for me, and I felt better soon after every session with the lovely Emma Cannon, who is well known in London for being a fertility, pregnancy and integrated women’s health expert.
If I were to become pregnant and suffer from nausea again, I would be back in no time for weekly sessions in the early days.
