Preparing for Mother’s Day
I love Mother’s Day. I used to think it was just another marketing gig from the shops. Now I’m sold. It’s practically like Christmas. It’s potentially the best day of the year.
But only because Baby Girl seems to be determined to make it special. She started preparing ten days before the big occasion.
She first did a photo shoot with the team from Julia Boggio Studios at family club Purple Dragon. In the photo, she’s sat next to a canvas with her footprint and a note saying she loves her mummy. I can’t wait to receive it.
She wanted to do more than a photo though. Two days after the shoot she decorated a canvas with a handprint surrounded by Californian poppies and gold glitter. Next, she’s planning to make a card and let Daddy T book us all a table for lunch.
It will probably be difficult for me to sleep on Saturday. I just know I’ll be too excited about my first Mother’s Day.
