Preparing for holiday with compact Orchard Toys Mini Games
When we were having breakfast at The Ivy Chelsea Garden the other day there were around 30 extra little ones on our table. 30 little cut-out penguins.
Big Girl and our friend’s son were playing away with one of the latest releases from Orchard Toys – Penguin Pairs (£4.99), a penguin matching game that is part of the new range of compact and portable mini games from Orchard Toys.
The cards appear to be about the same size as the cards in similar-style games, but the clever packaging makes this ideal for holidaying this summer. We kept it in the car at first, and then also took it abroad, using it in restaurants and on the go.
Penguin Pairs features cute and fun penguin characters, which Big Girl loves, and the game itself is great for practicing memory and matching skills. She can play it on her own, or with a friend or one of us, and she loves the adorable and likeable penguins, which I think makes this game a particularly good buy for young children.
As a parent, I’m also a big fan of the compact packaging. It looks like the box could almost fit through a letterbox, and in my mind, the slim packaging is very appropriate for a game of this style. It is fantastic for not only travelling but also for storing at home.
Well done to Orchard Toys for creating fun and educational games with compact and practical packaging!
