Proud parents with a pram

Daddy T and I have a new issue to bicker about on weekends. It’s the “who’s driving” issue. Not the car, but the pram.

Daddy T is self-proclaimed “weekend driver” of the pram. He’s very territorial, and there’s no way he’ll let me borrow it on a Saturday or Sunday.

But I like driving too. It doesn’t feel right walking without pushing the pram now. It feels like something is missing.

It must be a pride thing. We’re proud new parents, who both want to push a Bugaboo around the park on a weekend.

I’ve sometimes had to push it around inside too – particularly the day Baby Girl received her first pink Hello Kitty balloon, which we tied to the pram handle. It was too cute to let go of.

And I think I need to get my dose of pram-pushing during the week to keep peace in the family on the weekend.
