Last year there was one show Baby Boy enjoyed reviewing more than any other, and it was one Big Girl had loved reviewing in previous years. It was In the Night Garden Live in Richmond Park.
The family friendly show, ideal for the very youngest theatre-goers, has continued to make me smile, as it’s been priceless to watch the children’s reaction to seeing the large, adorable characters from the CBeebies children’s TV hit In the Night Garden on stage.
The show is held in a purpose-built showdome, which makes it ideal for young children, as it is not only easy to access with buggies, but seats are relatively close to the stage. In my experience, the entertaining performance gets toddlers up on their feet, singing along and giggling.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2017 In the Night Garden Live tour, and in London the show is on in Blackheath from 25 May to 10 June, and in the Old Deer Park in Richmond from 17 June to 5 July.
