Review: BABY Secrets collectible toys for cute and versatile mini baby dolls

When we received a pack of the new collectible toy BABY Secrets to review, we had one very excited five-year-old at home. We revealed a baby with a furry bear hat, a baby with a saucepan on the head and a baby with a sparkly rain hat and matching boots. Big Girl was ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ over every cute little detail. The excitement of opening the plastic bags with a baby and revealing the character made for a very fun afternoon and it was a joy to watch.

BABY Secrets are recently released collectible toys that are mini baby dolls. The babies are sold in single packs (£2.99) and in activity packs with three babies and an accessory (£12.99).  There are a total of 50 baby characters to reveal, and two of the ones Big Girl received were limited edition babies, which she thought were particularly adorable.

The babies are all dressed in nappies that change colour when the babies are dipped in water. The single packs come complete with a bath tub, and Big Girl has been filling these with water to reveal the different babies’ nappy colour–blue or pink. The baby hats or other accessories are not detachable.

I think the activity pack with three babies and an accessory would be great for starting a collection, as those packs come with two babies you can see and one surprise single pack with a bath tub. There’s also a baby accessory like a pram, high chair or rocking horse.

The accessories have been incorporated into play in our house, and  I’ve not been surprised to see the babies being played with every day since they arrived last week. They appear to be the perfect size to use with doll’s house furniture, and they’ve also been used as babies for fashion dolls. I think the cute-factor, small size and sweet details make BABY Secrets versatile and easy for children to include when playing with favourite toys!
