Review: Funky Blade & Rose leggings for babies and toddlers

When I first came across British brand Blade & Rose, I was in Semmalina in Belgravia looking for a costume for Baby Girl to wear to the Christmas dress-up day in nursery. I found the cutest leggings with a Christmas pudding on the bottom, but that time the shop didn’t have my chosen leggings from Blade & Rose in Baby Girl’s size.

Since then, however, she’s become the lucky owner of a pair of pink and grey Blade & Rose mouse leggings (£10), which we’ve received as a sample. The colourful leggings (pictured above) are soft and I like the good quality feel.

As Baby Girl is now two years old, they’re fun to wear with a denim skirt or tutu, but for younger children, I think it’s easier not to put anything over the leggings. I’m sure the stylish Blade & Rose leggings, which come in sizes 0-6 months to 3-4 years, will look adorable on their own on crawlers due to the cute bottom designs. It’s difficult to know whether to put socks under, but if barefoot isn’t an option, the leggings also work well with slipper socks, such as the ones I wrote about recently from Ace&Me, or socks by Blade & Rose.

The colourful designs and quality-feel of the Blade & Rose products make them stand out as brilliant leggings for crawlers and climbers, and I also think the themed styles are fantastic for dressing up babies and toddlers for Halloween and Christmas. Cool and comfy!
