0Review: Chalkboard stickers from Supertogether to inspire creative play
On some days now all three members of our family sit squeezed into a corner in the kitchen. It’s not any kitchen though. It’s Baby Girl’s kitchen. The little kitchen is placed in a corner of our family kitchen, and the reason we all have to sit there is because everyone has to get involved in drawing on the new cupcake-shaped chalkboard, which we received as a sample to review from Supertogether.
I asked to review this chalkboard sticker, as I had readers asking for advice on how to incorporate chalkboards into children’s play areas, and I think stickers are a brilliant option.
We could have gone for chalkboard paint, chalkboard wallpaper or a framed chalkboard instead, but I didn’t want to hang anything low on our kitchen wall and I like stickers because they can be removed easily. We wanted the chalkboard to sit behind the toy kitchen, and if we decide to move the toy kitchen we can now simply peel off the sticker, which I find extremely practical.
Supertogether has a wide selection of chalkboard stickers, starting from less than £10. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and it should be easy to find something that could inspire children’s imagination and creativity. Some of the stickers are very large, and the cupcake shape is one of the smaller ones, but it meets our needs.
Baby Girl has a fun place to draw whenever she feels creative – or feels like someone else in the family should be creative!
