1Review: Childs Farm Hand Wash for sensitive skin and family life
‘Is that a new hand soap, mummy? I need to use the new hand soap, mummy’
Baby Girl spotted a new hand soap on the kitchen table and instantly wanted to test it. We’ve now had long discussions about not eating hand soap and only using it to clean our hands, and this time she got it right. She took the Childs Farm hand wash we had received to review to the bathroom to try it right way, and seemed happy with the result.
I was happy too. So happy I’ve already ordered more of the hand wash and hand cream to go with it from Ocado. I had been looking for a gentle hand wash without parabens, SLSs and so on, and I wanted one that would be sensitive to our skin. I get really dry hands in cold weather, and some hand soaps have been horrible to use this winter.
I’ve also previously tried changing to a hand wash designed for children in the bathrooms Baby Girl uses, but I wasn’t familiar with the Childs Farm one before now, and I’ve not been particularly happy with other more expensive brands I’ve tried.
Stocking up on children’s hand wash products is perhaps not what I thought life would be like before having a baby and wanting hotel-style bathrooms, but the Childs Farm handcar set with hand wash and hand cream looks cute.
And it’s all about Baby Girl and taking care of our skin – at least as long as I can splash out on Rik Rak by Kit Kemp hand soap in our en-suite.
Childs Farm was founded by mother of 2 Joanna Jensen, who teamed up with manufacturer Medichem to make her baby and toiletry products for sensitive skin. The products have been dermatologically tested, paediatrician approved and deemed suitable for newborns and upwards as well as eczema prone skin.
I love Childs Farm products! I have the detangler for LO which works amazingly on his wild curly hair and the two-in-one bath and shampoo which works well and smells divine 🙂
