0Review: Classic English summer sleeping bags from Sleepycozy
Daddy T had kindly offered to get Baby Girl ready for bed on Sunday, and it all went smoothly until I went in to check on her before midnight and found her lying in bed with wet hair caused by her being dressed for January weather in May.
To avoid waking her up, I decided to only change her sleeping bag, and was thrilled when I remembered I’d just received a sample of a 0.5 tog cotton sleeping bag from Sleepycozy, which is meant for heatwaves and holidays. Just what we needed!
I had a lightweight sleeping bag for Baby Girl last summer too, and although we didn’t use it as much as the sleeping bags we have for the rest of the year, I wouldn’t have been without one.
For us, it was essential to have a summer sleeping bag for warm days, as we don’t have air-condition at home and it was difficult to keep the temperature down in warmer months.
The traditional quilted Sleepycozy sleeping bags (from £28) in 100% cotton are easy to wash, and I think they are great for toddlers. They come in sizes 3-18 months and 18 months to 3 years, and it looks like the larger size might fit Baby Girl for two summers. The sleeping bags are also available in 0.75 togs and 2.2 togs.
The cotton fabric feels a bit like crisp bed linen, so it’s not a Jersey type cotton, and Baby Girl slept well in hers and looked very English in the cute traditional design!
Sleepycozy, which is now run by two West Sussex mums, also has a range of classic English nightwear, including summer styles ideal for warm nights.
