Review: Dixon and Daughter launches British faux fur collection for children
When we received a beautiful faux fur gilet as a sample from Dixon and Daughter, I instantly wished it could fit me too. The little cream gilet with pink lining looks chic and on trend, and seems like the perfect wardrobe addition for any little princess this winter.
Baby Girl put it on as soon as she’d ripped it out of the pink tissue paper it came in, and it looked adorable with the long-sleeved Amelia Brennan winter dress she was wearing. When we later met up with one of my friends who always looks stunning herself, she commented on how fashionable Baby Girl looked in her new outfit. I think Baby Girl has to get used to getting compliments if she continues to wear her fluffy and cuddly Dixon and Daughter statement piece to keep warm.
The faux fur collection from new British brand Dixon and Daughter, which was founded by mum Louisa Dixon, is worth checking out for anyone who enjoys dressing their little girls in beautiful, soft and high quality clothes. The collars and gilets are so pretty, and they can last longer than many other clothes due to the fit. Size 1-2 years in the gilet is perfect on 27-month-old Baby Girl, who is tall for her age, but I’m sure this piece could have fit in the same size last year too.
Dixon and Daughter collars are £25 and the gilets are £55. Every Dixon and Daughter piece is handmade in England.
