0Review: Finding a sleeping bag to keep baby warm at night
Daddy T thinks I’m going crazy. Baby Girl has started sleeping through the night in the last month, but I’ve still picked her up and put her in our bed on several occasions.
But I’ve had my reasons–I keep worrying about the temperature in Baby Girl’s bedroom.
That’s why I was very excited when we received a 2.5 tog SleepSac from PurFlo to review after becoming a brand ambassador for this company, focusing on healthy sleeping.
Baby Girl is used to sleeping in sleeping bags, and she has sleeping bags from three other brands, but the 2.5 tog SleepSac from PurFlo was particularly useful to have at this time of year. When I put it on Baby Girl, it feels a little bit like I’m covering her with a duvet – only this one she can’t remove or get over her head.
I’m also a big fan of bamboo products for babies, and the SleepSac has a soft bamboo lining, which is naturally antibacterial and absorbs 60% more moisture than cotton.
In addition, the SleepSac comes with zip-on arms, which will come in handy when taking Baby Girl to Scandinavia over Christmas. I’ve never tried a sleeping bag with arms before, and on most nights, Baby Girl will use the SleepSac without arms, but it is great to have the option to take them on when needed.
I have a feeling Daddy T would be thrilled if I could zip on some arms instead of moving Baby Girl to our bed next time I get worried about cold nights!
The PurFlo SleepSac comes in four sizes, and size 0-3 months is designed to be used from birth, but it is recommended that the baby weighs more than 4 kilos before using this product.
