0Review: Fisher-Price Greetings Globe for globetrotting toddlers
When Big Girl started learning continents in nursery, I pulled out a desktop globe from a box of stuff I had forgotten to unpack after our last move. The old globe, however, was more suited as a room decoration and not something we ended up looking at regularly.
What we really needed was a fun globe that could keep the interest going, and that’s why I loved the look of the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Greetings Globe–an all singing, all dancing interactive globe with buttons, music and sounds, which we’ve received to review.
The Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Greetings Globe (£34.99) is now included in a Fisher-Price and Save the Children campaign. Fisher-Price has teamed up with Save the Children to help change the lives of the most disadvantaged children in the UK with a new partnership that aims to give every child the chance to play and learn.
From 2 November to 24 December 2016 £1 from the sale of the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Greetings Globe and 15 other toys from the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn range, sold at Argos, will be donated to Save the Children.
The Greetings Globe, designed for children aged 6 months to three years, features three different play modes, 7 animal buttons, a travel book with pages to flip and little ones can also have fun spinning the whole globe.
For 17-month-old Baby Boy, the best play mode is the music one, as he enjoys listening to tunes from around the world and dance along to the music.
As he grows older he can answer the questions about animals in the learning mode and learn from the facts about the world. Even four-year-old Big Girl has showed an interest in this globe, liking the greetings from all over the world and spinning the globe to hear different songs.
In fact, the Greetings Globe features more than 100 sounds and phrases, making the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Greetings Globe a long-lasting, educational and entertaining toy for toddlers and preschoolers.
With the £1 donation from sales at Argos, I think the Greetings Globe also makes a great feel-good present for any jet-setting toddler this Christmas!
