Review: Getting Easter-ready at the Tiny Big Feet Easter Egg Hunt with shopDisney

Last Sunday three-year-old Big Boy and I escaped the usual weekend sports schedule and headed to Oxford Street instead. When we arrived just before 11, keen shoppers had already started filing into the nearby coffee shops, and a musician helped properly wake us up with some cheerful drumming. Big Boy danced along to the music while we queued up in front of the Disney Store on Oxford Street, where we were attending the preview of their upcoming Easter activity the Tiny Big Feet Easter Egg Hunt.

Tiny Big Feet are the adorable new collectibles from shopDisney and these small soft toys sets the theme for the Easter activity events in Disney Stores in April. At the preview, we gathered with a group in the event space on the lower ground floor of the Oxford Street shop and received a sheet with pictures of the Tiny Big Feet to find.

Easter-egg shaped cut-outs of Tiny Big Feet were hidden all over the lower ground floor, and three-year-old Big Boy was eagerly searching high and low to get them ticked off on his sheet. Some were trickier to find than expected–particularly a Woody one that was at the top of a narrow shelf and some that seemed to blend in with the displays.

Walking around the shop and talking about the cute characters made for a sweet activity to do together, and we tried not to follow anyone else, which made it more exciting for Big Boy and meant he could take longer to find the cut-out eggs himself. After ticking off everyone on the sheet, we had some goodies to take home as a celebration of the preview!

The Tiny Big Feet Easter Egg Hunt activity will be running in shopDisney stores in the UK from Tuesday 16 to Thursday 18 April between 11am and 3pm (See the website for a list of stores). I think the event can be particularly good for young children, and ideal for families who are out shopping and want a little, fun break for the children.
