Review: ilovegorgeous adds a touch of glam to girls fashion

‘I’m not letting anyone borrow this!’

Big Girl was pretty thrilled with her new accessories the other week. She had visited ilovegorgeous in Primrose Hill, where she had been allowed to pick out a few items for review, and clearly felt extremely proud of a new, stylish bag she’d picked.

I had tried to steer her towards a cute and practical sweater, but she was having none of it. She was not leaving the shop without her chosen bright pink floral hairband and cross-body star bag. I’m always tempted to be sensible when finding clothes for her, but looking at her this morning when she left for nursery in a cute ilovegorgeous skirt and matching hairband and bag, it’s hard to fault her style.

The accessories make it particularly fun for little ones to pick out gorgeous outfits, finding their true style and dressing up the way they want to.

Three-year-old Big Girl usually only wants to wear dresses, but her new Hot Pink Can Can Skirt (£49) has become a wardrobe favourite–always worn with the over the shoulder star print Marais Bag (£19) and Hot Pink Pom Pom Hairband (£12) she chose, of course. I can see her wearing this outfit all year round, and the skirt benefits from an elasticated waist, making it comfortable for her to wear.

The crepe skirt can also be dressed up for parties, and in the shop, I could see it looked stunning with the Sequin Star Jumper (£59) or Russian Doll jumper (£65).
