Review: Joie everystage fx signature car seat for a stylish seat to grow with the child

‘I wish I had a car seat like that!’

The other day I had a five-year-old with a serious car seat envy. She wanted the new car seat Big Boy had received to review, clearly recognising that it looked like the best seat in the car.

The car seat is a Joie everystage fx signature car seat (RRP £279), and it is one of the car seats that Joie has now released as part of a new luxury collection.

This winter Joie introduced Joie signature, which is a sophisticated new car seat and pushchair collection. As part of the new launch, Joie has introduced leather touches and woven fabrics, which I think make them look more luxurious than traditional models.

The everystage car seat looks both cozy and stylish, and I think it is a practical option for families looking for a long lasting car seat that children can use up to 12 years. It is a 0+/1/2/3 seat that can be rearward facing up to 18kg and then used in a forward facing position.

I like how the car seat grows with the child, and there is an infant insert system for little ones. We’ve used the car seat in the toddler mode. It’s also been very easy to use and both kids have tried it because the headrest and the five-point harness are easy to adjust.

In addition, the car seat is Isofix compatible and it offers side impact protection–two of the other safety features that are important to me when choosing a car seat.

The only challenge now will be keeping this comfy and plush seat looking as fresh and sophisticated as it does so far, but I’ve been happy to read the cover is washable.

Practical and stylish all the way!

The Joie signature range includes three different car seat models and three different pushchair models with the same stylish look
