0Review: Keeping big and little feet warm with wintery Moccis
When I was working in publishing, I remember rushing to meetings but always finding time to quickly change from flats to heels outside the meeting room. Now as a mum, I don’t always carry my heels around. Instead I’ve started bringing light and soft slippers for both Baby Girl and me in my bag.
We received a pair each to try from Moccis, a Swedish brand specialising in hand sewn moccasins for children and adults, and they are super practical for taking around to play dates considering the current risk of cold kitchen floors in South West London. I don’t get cold with my new slippers, and I know Baby Girl is likely to feel comfortable too since we’re in the same type of footwear.
I also love that the Moccis we received are matching – and Baby Girl might love it even more. They look very wintery with a star print, and mine are black and discreet while hers are red. The Scandinavian-looking star print patterns are perfect for winter, and the non-slip sole means they feel safer than wearing socks when mum and toddler are running around at full speed. Safe and snug!
Moccasins are a hybrid of a sock and a slipper, and the collection of Moccis for children and adults are made of soft and warm material and a machine-washable leather sole. Adult-sized Moccis start from £59.97 and the children’s ones start from £34.97. There are wool options for both children and adults.
