Review: Luxurious baby skincare from Little Butterfly London

When I received a sample from new luxurious baby skincare brand Little Butterfly London, my hands were cracked from the cold weather and I was in desperate need of a hand cream. The only product I had in my bag was the sample I had just collected of the Little Butterfly London body lotion, and I assumed it would be much too thin to help solve my problem, but decided to give it a go.

To my delight, this body lotion was super smooth, nourishing and creamy. It was nothing like the body lotion I had bought for Baby Girl when she was little and ended up never finishing. If I’d had this beautiful product from Little Butterfly London at the time, she would have been moisturised every day.

I think many new mums are like me and feel strongly about looking after baby’s delicate skin when they’re little, and I certainly didn’t want to use any unnatural products on my newborn baby. But some of the products I got the impression were safe weren’t necessarily brilliant, so that’s why I really enjoyed trying some of the Little Butterfly products, which are organic-certified and free from parabens, SLS and more.

I loved the samples I tried from the range, and I think the full-sized bottles, which I’ve seen for sale at family club Maggie & Rose, will look stunning on any bathroom shelf and would also make wonderful baby gifts.

The luxurious products created in England are more expensive than some other baby skincare products, but if you’re a new mum looking for safe and gentle creams and oils, I would recommend looking at Little Butterfly London. There’s, for example, a massage oil, which I think would be ideal for anyone doing a daily baby massage routine.

The Little Butterfly products feel safe, nourish the skin and look beautiful, and that’s why they are sure to be loved by both mum and baby!

Little Butterfly products are free from mineral oil, paraffin, parabens, SLS, silicones, DEA, TEA, PEGs and artificial fragrances. The products are available to buy online and from local shops, such as Pure Baby on Fulham Road and Baby Spa in Kensington.
