0Review: Muddy Puddles Puddle Pac-an-All-in-Ones for getting little ones outdoors
When we did the NCT Nearly New sale the other week, I was surprised to be asked if we had a waterproof all-in-one suit for sale. I didn’t, and I wasn’t aware they were so in demand.
But after receiving a Puddle Pac-an-All-in-One (£25) to review for Baby Boy from British kids waterproofs and outdoor clothing brand Muddy Puddles I fully understand why other parents were looking for one.
The Puddle Pac-an-All-in-One has meant Baby Boy has had lots more opportunities to be on the move outdoors, as he’s had a chance to crawl around in wet grass and sand without getting his clothes dirty or needing a change. Instead of carrying him when we’ve been in the park, visited outdoor play areas or been out in the garden with three-year-old Big Girl, he’s been moving around freely like his big sister and he’s has had more opportunities to explore the world around him.
The waterproof Puddle Pac-an-All-in-One is practical for families who enjoy spending time outdoors, as it folds into a pocket and can easily be stored under a buggy or in a changing bag. Since Baby Boy tags along to sports classes and him and I typically wait on the grass outside a court while Big Girl runs around, it’s been fantastic to keep Baby Boy busy in any weather, covering him up in the Puddle Pac-an-All-in-One and letting him crawl around on the grass.
The suit is also breathable, and I put it over his clothes even if it’s not raining. The other week he was praised for his outfit when playing in the sand with Big Girl at a farm despite there being no rain in sight. Other parents simply commented that he wouldn’t return home with sand everywhere like other little ones lying in the sand.
I still think the suit would get too hot to wear in warm summer weather, but it is exactly what we need for grey days and days with cooler temperatures to ensure Baby Boy can join in the fun.
Ten-month-old Baby Boy wears size 18-24 months, as he is big for his age, and it’s a loose fit on him. The suit is easy to get on and off due to a long zip at the front, and it also features a practical hood
