Review: Personalised Photo Jigsaw from Wentworth Wooden Puzzles

When I was trying to get Christmas-ready the other day, I was up until passed 2am to wrap presents, organise Christmas cards–and test out a puzzle. I had received a Personalised Wooden Photo Jigsaw with whimsies from Wentworth Wooden Puzzles to review, and was eager to open the beautiful box.

For my review, I had chosen a Christmas-themed photo and opted for a 250-piece puzzle with whimsical pieces. The puzzle comes in a box with the photo at the front, and the pieces are in a smart drawstring bag inside.

Despite deliberately choosing a Christmas photo with various colours and plenty of details, the level of difficulty is different from a normal 250-piece puzzle as specially-designed whimsy Christmas-themed pieces make this more challenging to put together. In fact, I’ve previously been advised a 250-piece Wentworth Wooden Puzzle could at times be comparable to 1500-piece puzzles. .

For us, I could see this being a brilliant joint project for a holiday. When we have time off, we occasionally enjoy doing puzzles together in the evenings. It can be such a relaxing and peaceful activity.

I think personalised puzzles make for wonderful presents for Christmas and birthdays, and Wentworth Puzzles offers different, themed puzzle cuts for personalised versions of their quality, wooden puzzles. To order, photos can be uploaded online and the boxes can be personalised with a special message.

As a last minute alternative, I would also recommend the sweet Cracker Puzzles from Wentworth Puzzles (£9.95). I’ve bought one as a stocking filler as I adore the cracker-shaped packaging and festive mini puzzles, which can be fun for children and adults alike.
