0Review: Scooterearz for keeping children’s hands warm in winter
The other week Baby Girl arrived at nursery on her scooter wearing my sheepskin Ugg gloves.
It was a really cold morning, but she had insisted she didn’t need her mittens. A few blocks up the road she had freezing cold fingers and were more than happy to accept my offer to take my gloves instead.
She put on the huge gloves and tried to continue holding on to her scooter, which did not look easy at all.
As soon as I dropped her off, I noticed one of the other children’s scooter had fur-lined mittens attached to the handle. Why didn’t we have those?
Hand warmers seemed like a must-have scooter accessory for cold morning school runs, so I went straight home to contact the company behind them–Scooterearz. I was thrilled to receive a sample to review, as I could see them being ideal for Baby Girl who doesn’t always feel like wearing mittens despite cold weather.
We’ve now slipped the pink flower-patterned Scooterearz on her Micro scooter handle, and we plan to keep them there until springtime. I’m looking forward to no more arguments about putting on mittens in the morning, and no more worrying about her fingers being cold. The Scooterearz are part of the scooter now, and Baby Girl seems to really like having them there.
Brilliant for staying warm!
The Scooterearz collection also includes matching, spacious scooter bags, which are attached to the scooter with Velcro straps, and for mums who do the school run on a bicycle, look out for the snug Bike Earz mitts to attach to the handlebar and keep your hands warm throughout colder months.
