0Review: Slumbersac winter sleeping bag for keeping baby warm throughout the year
When three-year-old Baby Girl put her doll to bed yesterday, she refused to put a blanket over baby. Instead she dressed her little one in a safe and practical sleeping bag.
That’s exactly how she’s seen four-month-old Baby Boy sleeping now too, and he’s already had a chance to try out a few different ones. With us going back and forth about whether to keep the heating on or off in our house, we’ve had some unnecessarily chilly nights and a need to move straight onto winter sleeping bags.
I’ve been waking up freezing cold, but Baby Boy has been warm and snug. When the bedroom has been cold he’s been wearing a cute, blue Slumbersac winter sleeping bag with sleeves and train embroidery, which he received to review.
I hadn’t considered sleeping bags with sleeves before, but it’s been ideal for a cold London house, where the radiators probably should have been kept on instead of me worrying about toys lying too close to them and not having had enough time to check every radiator before bedtime.
It’s also been practical for nighttime possetting, as if he’s gotten a bit wet on his arm it’s not affected his sleepsuit, saving me the extra work of changing his clothes in the middle of the night.
Baby Boy has the 0-6 months (70cm) Slumbersac winter sleeping bag (£23.99), and he is a big 4-month-old, but it still looks like it will fit for a bit longer. The sleeping bag, which can also be personalised with baby’s name, is around 2.5 tog and it is padded, with slightly lighter padding in the arms to avoid restricting movement. It has cotton lining, feeling soft for baby.
A warm and practical sleeping bag for chilly nights!
