Review: Stokke Sheepskin Lining for surviving the big freeze

Stokke Sheepskin Lining BuggyWhen I was struggling to get Baby Boy to sit in his buggy yesterday I convinced him by coming to feel his cozy sheepskin liner. He smiled and walked over to pat the soft and cuddly liner. Success.

I don’t think even a ‘spirited’ toddler can refuse to sit on something as beautiful and soft as the Stokke Sheepskin Lining, which he received to review. It is the Rolls Royce of baby sheepskin pram liners, and I’ve fallen in love with it after trying it this winter.

It may seem expensive at £209, but it stands out because of its luxurious feel, look and fit. It is particularly plush and it reminds me of a cuddly toy. I also think it gives the buggy a style upgrade, looking super chic with natural brown sheepskin sourced from Australia and New Zealand.

A sheepskin pram liner like this can be used throughout the seasons, as wool helps regulate body temperature, and for me sheepskin has been a must-have pram accessory for keeping my little ones warm on the go. The London weather keeps surprising me, and with the big freeze we’re experiencing now it seems like we’re buying more and more functional Scandinavian-style products for the kids.

Stokke Scoot Sheepskin Liner BlanketWhile I keep doing the school run without gloves and a hat because I regularly forget myself, Baby Boy looks ever so comfortable sitting on the soft, beautiful sheepskin liner and dressed in wool from top to toe.

The Stokke Sheepskin Lining (£209) is designed to fit Stokke pushchairs, and it comes with a little brush to keep it looking fresh. The pictures also feature the 100% cotton Stokke Stroller Blanket (£41) in cable grey, which we’ve also received as a sample. I like that the blanket comes with poppers on the side that fit Stokke Scoot, so I keep the blanket attached to the buggy to avoid it falling out. See my reviews of Stokke Scoot HERE
