0Review: I See Me personalised Christmas storybooks for fostering a love of reading
Before posting this post I wanted to text a friend who reads the blog to ask her not to buy this book. It’s not because I don’t like it though. I love it and I think she will too. I just don’t want her to buy it because she’s given us some truly unique presents in the past, and I wanted to give her son this book because I think it’s pretty special.
I’ve come across a number of personalised storybooks this season, and in my opinion, the books by I See Me, a US-based personalised children’s book company which now ships to the UK, stand out. I like the concept of personalised books, which can help children get interested in books and reading, and after receiving one book to review, I went straight online to order more for Christmas.
I had picked The Night Before Christmas to review although we had the book from before, as it’s one of three-year-old Baby Girl’s favourite books, and it’s been fantastic having a personalised version of the book too.
The Night Before Christmas is such a wonderful Christmas book for children, and the personalised version makes it even more special. The personalised book by I See Me doesn’t only add the child’s name to illustrations, but it’s also possible to include a picture of the child to be printed, include several family members’ names on stockings and presents, have the surname on the house, the name of the city the child lives in and more.
It’s not just me who’s been fascinated with this book. Baby Girl got very excited when she received it too, and we’re reading it almost every day now.
The Christmas countdown has begun!
