Review: Zoku ice lolly moulds for fun refreshing treats for kids

When we had friends over the other day Big Girl was proudly serving up her homemade creations. She had made under-water themed ice lollies and ice lollies that looked like little rings by mixing orange juice and water and filling moulds we’d received to review from Zoku.

The fun-shaped ice lolly moulds are the best I’ve come across. The fish ice lolly moulds we received to review are particularly cute, featuring a shark, clownfish, octopus, whale, puffer fish and scuba diver shape. The sticks are designed to match the different moulds, with each design having a different fish tail.

We’ve previously only tried plain ice lolly moulds, and some have been with plastic that has broken after being frozen, and I’ve had to use warm water to get them out of the moulds.

With the Zoku ice lolly moulds I’ve had none of these issues. The soft moulds and practical design means Big Girl can take the finished lollies out herself by pulling on the sticks, which also come with practical drip guards. In fact, these fun-shaped and design-led products feel like top quality and I like that they are easy to store flat in the freezer.

It also feels great that we can make fun refreshing treats together with the children, and I’m sure we’ll be making lots of ice lollies in the coming months by trying different juices, smoothies and fruits in the recipes.
