Scandi Mini opens West Kensington shop
The other day Big Girl turned up at an event with a bag she’d designed herself. She had joined me at the Scandi Mini 5th birthday party and was pretty proud to have made a bag with the lovely team from Crafted.
The event celebrated not only the Scandi Mini fifth birthday, but also the opening of their first shop in West Kensington. The Blythe Road location of the new shop seemed pretty random for someone who’s not regularly in West Kensington, but it was easy to find and there’s plenty of pay and display parking in the area.
The cute boutique brings the online shop to life, showcasing Scandi Mini’s mix of natural and handcrafted and fun and imaginary kids clothes and accessories. There’s everything from quirky cushions and cool kids nail polish, which make fabulous gifts, to adorable knitted rompers and soft and informal Mini Rodini clothes.
The shop will suit mums who do the school run, as it will stay open from 10am to 1pm, and there’s also a sweet cafe next door, which could make a good stop for a morning coffee.
