Sipping coffee on the go
Baby Girl and I did something very important yesterday. We tested a vital part of her new pram – the cup holder.
Before we made it out, it was almost like there was something missing on her pram. It turned out it was the Starbucks coffee. As soon, as we had filled the cup holder with a latte from Starbucks the Bugaboo Cameleon looked complete.
But I had made a rookie mistake. I had bought a tall latte.
New mums clearly need a higher caffeine intake to cope with sleep deprivation, and they are probably more likely to go for the larger-sized take away coffees. This is perhaps why my Bugaboo cup holder seems to be made for grande or venti-sized Starbucks coffees.
The tall latte simply wasn’t tall enough. I ended up spilling coffee all over the cup holder trying to pull it back out.
Next time, I’ll ensure I’m more in tune with other new mums – or I guess it will be Baby Girl who will ensure I’m properly worn out and in dire need of a very large coffee.
