Sleeping through the night
Daddy T and I were two very proud parents on Friday. Midwife and baby expert Vicki Scott, the owner of New Baby Company, told us that Baby Girl was a “great candidate” for sleeping through the night in a few weeks from now.
It didn’t matter that she hadn’t actually done it yet – or had an opportunity to do it with the three-hourly routine we’ve been following. I was still so proud that I had to call Grandma N with the excellent news.
The fact that Baby Girl was called a “great candidate” seemed like something worth bringing out the bubbles for.
At this rate, I wonder what we’ll be like if she gets a star sticker on a math test, or manages to hit a ball across the net at Teddy Tennis. When something like that happens, I guess I’ll be desperately trying to secure a table at Fat Duck to celebrate.
