0Sleeping through the night
I keep hearing that Baby Girl should be big enough to sleep through the night now. She’s coming up to 12 weeks, and she should apparently be able to sleep from 11.30 at night to 7 in the morning. But even if she should be able to do it, I’m not sure I’m able to.
In fact, I’ve already proven that I’m not. She did sleep for 7.5 hours one night two weeks ago, and I’ve never had a worse night than that since she was born.
Instead of waking up once in the middle of the night like we usually do now, I was up at least ten times that night. I kept jumping out of bed looking for her and constantly checking her breathing.
At more than six kilos, she probably is ready to sleep through the night now, but I’m not sure I am. Perhaps she’s simply waiting for me to catch up, waking up once during the night to allow me to adapt. Very clever.
