03 fun sports and activity kids summer camps in London 2015
Playball multi-sports summer holiday camps
I keep hearing great things about Playball from other mums, and the Playball summer holiday camps sound brilliant for both children who already do regular classes and those who want to try the multi-sports activity programme. The camps, which can be booked for either one day or several days, are for children aged between 3 and 8, and parents can drop off their children for each session, which lasts from 10am to 1pm and includes lunch. At the camps, there will be water bombs, a water slide, a treasure hunt, Playball games and more – all organised by the 7 coaches present. The camps are being held on the tennis courts in Battersea Park on 20 July, 21 July, 27 July, 28 July, 17 August, 18 August, 24 August and 25 August, and on the tennis courts and in the garden at Oak Lodge School (SW12) on 22 July, 23 July, 24 July, 29 July, 30 July, 31 July, 19 August, 20 August, 21 August, 26 August, 27 August, 28 August.
The Little Gym gymnastics summer holiday camps
The Little Gym Wandsworth and Fulham is running gymnastics summer holiday camps for children aged 3 to 8 and 6 to 12 from 20 July to 5 September. Parents can drop off their children for the three-hour long themed-sessions from 9.30-12.30 or 14.00-17.00, depending on age and day of the week. During the sessions, which can be booked individually, activities will include games, obstacle courses and crafts, and children will also be served a snack. The price per camp session is £35 for members of The Little Gym and £40 for non-members, and The Little Gym offers 6 sessions for the price of 5.
The Little Foxes Club sports summer holiday camps
Sports activity club company The Little Foxes Club is running football, tennis and rugby summer holiday camps over eight weeks, starting on Monday 13 July, and sessions can be booked separately. The age-specific classes, suitable for children between 18 months and 12 years, are taking place in seven venues across London, including Hurlingham Park in Fulham, Battersea Park, Hyde Park and Holland Park. In Holland Park, there will also be a The Little Foxes Club multi-sports and activity camp for 5 to 12-year-olds.
