Stationery brand Smiggle opens King’s Road shop
In the past few days four-year-old Big Girl has been busy writing her little Christmas cards to all her classmates, and it’s reminded me of how much fun it can be for girls to write cards and notes. But it’s all about the stationery.
Big Girl feels strongly about what pencils to use and the more sparkly the better. That’s why I was excited when I was invited to the launch of Smiggle on King’s Road on Friday, as I knew Smiggle, an Australian import, would be the type of shop she would love.
Smiggle is a colourful stationery brand that has recently expanded into the UK, and I can see us returning to the Chelsea shop for stocking fillers and gifts for children’s birthdays. When I had the opportunity to pick something at the opening, I chose a set Big Girl can use for writing little secret messages and notes and some fluffy extras.
There are fluffy pens, fluffy journals and fluffy key chain purses. There are also lots of fun and sparkly bits and bobs. Expect key rings with letters, magic colouring books, activity kits, scented pens, rainbow pens and much more.
