Usborne Sticker Dolly Dressing iPad app for summer holiday entertainment

I just discovered I had eight flights with the kids to look forward to this summer and five of them without Daddy T. To prepare me for a good few hours of having to keep two entertained in air, I’ve recently downloaded a number of iPad apps and the first one Big Girl wanted to play on our last trip abroad was Sticker Dolly Dressing by Usborne (£2.99).

After discovering Sticker Dolly Dressing sticker books earlier in the year, I’ve started ensuring I always have a new one in the bag for a trip, and I knew an app in the same style could be a hit.

The app, which comes in a dolly, princess and pirate version, features different backgrounds, similar to the sticker books, and players can choose a dolly to dress and place in the various settings.

They can dress the character of choice in a large selection of clothes and accessories, change hair styles and clothes patterns and add features to the background, such as animals and plants.

As soon as we had started the car journey to Heathrow at 6.30am in the morning last week Big Girl, who soon turns four, was ready to play. The app lasted us the 30-minute journey to Heathrow as well as the first 30 minutes of the flight, and it has been a regular favourite with her since then too.

Ideal for travelling over the summer!
