Why sticker name labels are ideal for a London mum

Last year I was new to our London nursery, and I was determined on sewing clothes labels into Baby Girl’s clothes. I thought they looked so much more stylish than the sticker labels.

Two months after Baby Girl starting nursery I still had a pile of clothes in the living room, and a never-ending project ahead.

I practically stopped shopping. I was so worried about adding to the workload.

But I soon realised this job was impossible to keep up. I thought I would find it relaxing to do some sewing in the evenings, but it’s not for me. At least not label sewing. Sewing name labels onto socks is simply not the best way for me to spend my time when sticker labels are widely available.

This year, it’s stickers all the way. In fact, I gave in at some point last year too, and ordered washable stickers, which were super easy to attach to clothes tags and were colourful and practical.

We’re getting more of these now, and I’m thrilled to have been offered sample sticker labels from My Nametags.

I’ve chosen a pink background with a heart pattern, and we’re having just her first name on the label. Next to her name, we’ve chosen to have an illustration of a little rubber duck, which I’m sure she’ll love. They will be quick and easy to stick on the clothes.

This is what I need. Not more work.
