0Stocking up on baby wipes and nappies
Yesterday I received a free sample of WaterWipes in the post. I’m not sure we needed it though. Daddy T added eight large packs and eight small ones to our weekly Ocado order. We have so many wipes that Baby Girl’s clothes drawers all have a few packs of WaterWipes around the edges.
We’re not prepared to risk having to use any of the other baby wipes we bought before she was born, as some smell funny. We feel safer using WaterWipes on our newborn, and she’s not had any problems with nappy rash.
But since we’ve found a product we like, Daddy T has been extremely worried about running out. In fact, he’s generally extremely worried about running out of any essentials.
We almost panicked a few days after we had returned from hospital with Baby Girl. We thought we were well-prepared until we realised how quickly we went through all the things we had been advised to buy for her, and we had little time to go shopping.
Since then, we’ve stocked up. In addition to all the WaterWipes, our Ocado orders have included three packs of Lansinoh nipple cream, five packs of Lansinoh breast pads, three packs of Pampers ChangeMats and jumbo size packs of Pampers nappies. That’s the definition of being prepared.
