0Stocking up on nursing wear
It’s not only Baby Girl who’s had her wardrobe ruined by weaning. It’s me too. I thought I was finished buying nursing wear a long time ago, but I was forced to reconsider after I gave Baby Girl blueberry porridge for breakfast one week.
I didn’t fancy wearing tops with light purple marks for the next three to five months, so I was back on the Boob Design website the other day. I was recommended Boob Design by a friend when I was still pregnant, and I’ve not come across any better nursing wear brands in the last year.
I love the soft cotton tops from Boob Design, and I’ve now stocked up on white and black t-shirts and long-sleeved tops again. That’s really all I need. I can wear my cardigans and shirts as long as I have a nursing top underneath.
I still can’t return to wearing normal tops though. Although Baby Girl has started solids she needs some milk after her lunch and a full milk feed after her lunchtime nap, which means I’m not getting out of wearing nursing tops during the day.
But with my new supply, I will at least get out of wearing the white and purple ones. No more blueberry brekkies for Baby Girl.
