0Sun protection for babies on beach holidays
We’re taking Baby Girl on two holidays in the sun this winter, and I’ve just read that it’s not advised to put sunscreen on infants younger than six months old. I’m not sure how we’re going to solve this one.
I wasn’t expecting to be able to lie on the beach on these holidays, but I was expecting to be able to leave the hotel room. I have fair skin myself, so I’m used to putting on sunscreen before I go out in the morning. I guess we won’t be doing that this year though.
But I’m sure we can still have a great time. We’ll probably spend more time in the room and on the balcony, so Baby Girl can sleep inside. And when we do go out, we’ll all be covering up.
Baby Girl will be wearing her sun hat with a wide brim and her cool, pink Babiators. When she’s in her pram, we’ll use her SnoozeShade sun cover, which protects her from UV rays. We’re all set for some fun in the sun shade.
