0Testing newly-developed parenting skills
I tried telling Baby Girl to throw her sun hat out of her buggy yesterday. It’s my new parenting strategy– or more specifically, something I figured it would be worth testing after running out of ideas for how to ensure we didn’t lose the sun hat on the way home from lunch.
But this new tactic worked. I was initially telling her not to throw the sun hat out of the buggy, and the result was that I repeatedly had to stop and look for it and put it back on her.
As soon as I told her to throw it out, she actually kept the sun hat on. I guess it could have been a case of us both tiring of the sun hat throwing game after close to ten repetitions, but it could also be that I need to give myself some credit for my newly developed parenting skills.
Match report: 1-0 to Mummy.
