0The consequences of baby refusing bottle-feeding
I’m not sure Baby Girl realises how lucky she is. At the age of seven months she’s already got to stay in her very own hotel room.
Daddy T and I weren’t going to use the hotel room we had booked for Saturday. It was only for Baby Girl. That’s what’s it like having a baby who doesn’t take a bottle. It means paying for an extra hotel room now and then.
Daddy T didn’t really get it though, and friends without kids were the same. They couldn’t understand why it wasn’t possible to force Baby Girl to take a bottle.
But there was no way I was going to leave my stubborn little one at home when attending a wedding at a hotel 45 minutes outside the city. Grandma N and Grandpa P who were babysitting simply had to come to the venue and look after Baby Girl in the room we had reserved for her.
When we arrived it looked like Baby Girl had packed for a week, but she was really only there for the duration of the wedding breakfast and dance. She still seemed to like her little break though. Dinner was served at the usual time and she later had her milk straight from source. Life is good for Baby Girl.
