0The end of baby’s hugging frenzy
I’m worried Baby Girl thinks she’s a teenager already. She no longer wants to give out her lovely hugs.
Or that’s not completely true. She’s fine hugging her friends.
It’s only Daddy T and I who she no longer seems to deem worthy of her big bear hugs at bedtime.
In recent months, 14-month old Baby Girl has been very generous with her hugs. Whenever I’ve asked her if I can have a hug, she’s usually come over with her arms reached out ready for a cuddle.
I expected to have around 12-13 more years of this, and was very excited about having such a loving daughter.
But hugging is apparently so last week. Now she’s just shaking her head when I ask her to give me a hug before she goes to bed. Not nice. Not nice at all.
