The importance of a new mum gift
Our maternity consultant Hattie warned us that Daddy T and I would most likely be bickering more now that we have a new baby in the house. When she said that, Daddy T instantly replied that we don’t normally argue a lot, so hopefully we would be fine.
What he didn’t add was how he planned to continue to keep the household intact. I think he already had his strategy laid out though. He knows me. I can quite easily be bought off.
Earlier this week, I spotted Daddy T texting a friend he knew had done a lot of research on the London jewellery scene before proposing to his girlfriend. The text read: ‘Someone needs a gift…’
He couldn’t be more spot on. Someone definitely does need a gift.
