When toddler starts making friends
Baby Girl has done it. She’s gone to nursery and made a friend all on her own. For the first time, Daddy T and I have not had anything to do with it. This is all Baby Girl. And she’s picked a really nice one.
I’m so proud of Baby Girl for making friends–and organising our social life in the process. On Saturday last week, we had brunch in No 11 Pimlico Road with Baby Girl’s nursery friend and her parents, and on Monday we had cakes and coffee at her friend’s house.
I’m thrilled that Baby Girl has made a lovely friend with extremely welcoming and friendly parents, who we get on really well with too.
At 20-months, I now think it’s obvious who Baby Girl likes spending time with, and I completely trust her judgement.
