0When toddler starts singing
I can’t wait for when Baby Girl learns a few more song titles. It would mean I wouldn’t have to sing ‘Row, row, row your boat’ dozens of times every day.
Seventeen-month old Baby Girl has recently learnt to say ‘Row, row’, and every time she says it, I have to sing her favourite song. As soon as I start, she joins in, singing ‘row, row, row, row, row, row’ and doing the rowing actions. At the end, she also ‘screams like a crocodile’.
And then we’re off again. After the scream, she’ll shout ‘Row, row,’ and I feel I have to start singing the song again – and again.
Very sweet– but after a few weeks of this, I really wouldn’t mind expanding the song repertoire.
