Meet 10-year-old author Henry Patterson at Igloo in Wimbledon
On Sunday 26 April from 2-4pm the Igloo children’s clothes and toys store in Wimbledon (see picture above) is hosting a book reading and signing event with 10-year-old author and entrepreneur Henry Patterson, who has written the book Pip Gets a Job. The family event is free to attend and there will be homemade cakes and tea served to everyone attending the inspirational afternoon.
Design a book cover at the Ralph Lauren Literacy event at Harrods
On Saturday 18 April from 2-6pm there will be a Ralph Lauren Literacy event in the childrenswear department on the fourth floor at Harrods. The event, which is now advertised in-store, will include book-cover designing, calligraphy, speedwriting and hand-writing analysis.
Meet young baker and writer Amy-Beth Ellice at Harrods
On Saturday 18 April from 1-3pm Harrods is also hosting a cupcake demonstration and book signing event with the young baker and published cookery writer Amy-Beth Ellice. The demonstration will take place in the toy department at Harrods, and she will also be signing copies of her debut cookbook Amy’s Baking Year for purchases made at WHSmith Harrods on the day.
