Top half-term holiday camps for kids in London

Little House of Science
Children’s science class provider Little House of Science is hosting Halloween-themed half-term workshops for children aged four to nine. On Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October there’s a 2-day spooky science workshop from 2-4pm in Hollywood Arms in Chelsea, and on Thursday 29 October there’s a workshop on creepy spiders and spooky stuff in Swiss Cottage Library from 10am to noon. The 2-day Chelsea event is £78 per child, and the Swiss Cottage workshop is £45 per child.

Chelsea Quavers
On Thursday 29 October Chelsea Quavers is hosting a singing workshop for children aged four to 12 years. Children will be introduced to sight-singing and aural development games, and older children will learn to sing in two-part harmony. There will also be opportunities to perform solos, and everyone will be taught to read and write music using Chelsea Quavers Music Puzzles. The course will take place at The Hall of Remembrance in Flood Street in Chelsea, and it is £70 for four-year-olds who can stay from 9am-1pm and it is £95 for five to 12-year-olds who can sty until 4pm.

West End Creative Learning
West End Creative Learning is hosting a three-day drama event where children aged five to eight can join actress, director and award-winning storyteller Amy Phillips and work on a performance of The Giant Jam Sandwich by John Vernon Lord and Janet Burroway. The course, which is on Monday 26, Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October from 10am-1.15pm at Trafalgar Studios Theatre, is £110 per child (£95 for siblings) and includes craft materials and a copy of the book The Giant Jam Sandwich.

The Little Foxes Club
Children’s sports coaching company The Little Foxes Club is hosting half-term football camps in Hurlingham Park in Fulham and Battersea Park in Battersea among others. The sessions can be booked separately or on a weekly basis, and in Hurlingham Park in Fulham, for example, the classes cater for children between 18 months and 12 years of age. The sessions for young children are one-hour long and cost £10 per session when booked separately, while the older children can do two-hour long sessions.
