Review: Pretty tulle skirts for stylish party girls
After seeing a beautiful tulle dress from Dainty Dizzy in Semmalina in Belgravia last year, I was sold. I love the soft tulle skirts from this British brand, which is based in Cornwall, and that’s why I was also excited to receive a birthday party set to review.
Dainty Dizzy is pretty unique in the fact that the company offers a ‘design your own’ service for tulle skirts and dresses, and there’s also an option to customise a party set (from £28) with a tulle skirt and a loose fitting t-shirt personalised with the little one’s name or age or both.
Think glitter and glam. If you’re planning a princess- or fairy-themed birthday party for your little one, this is the ultimate outfit for the birthday girl. But it won’t look out of place on any girl who likes to sparkle. The Dainty Dizzy birthday party set is a cool and special outfit for style-conscious little girls, and I think the set would look fab with frilly socks or patterned tights.
The t-shirt that comes with the set is a basic white t-shirt with print, and the skirt is made with a double layer of soft tulle and hand tied and sewn to thick elasticised waistbands. Size 1-2 years fits Baby Girl who is soon to turn 2.
