What toys to buy for playing outside
I’m sure Baby Girl would have loved to have her own toy car and house for playing outside, but I’ve come up with a much more space-saving solution for now.
We have two things to take outside to play, and right now, my mini-toy kit seems to be more than good enough for 16-month old Baby Girl. She is the proud owner of a little sparkly ball and a bottle of bubble mixture she received in a party bag at a friend’s birthday. Both these amazingly fun toys fit in my pocket and don’t take up space in our hall.
They’re all we need for going outside for half an hour in the afternoon. We throw the ball around, run after it, laugh and scream loudly.
When I feel I’ve done enough running, we blow some bubbles and practise Baby Girl’s word of the week – ‘bubble’.
No need for a toy car and house – just yet.
