0Transforming family suppers with new prepared vegetables from Sainsbury’s
‘I absolutely loved it’
It’s not often I receive a text from a friend with comments on kids suppers, but the other day I felt I got it right when we made lasagne with hidden vegetables at a play date.
I had received a hamper from Sainsbury’s with samples from the new prepared vegetable range released this month, and I had decided to make a courgette lasagne with roasted butternut squash on the side.
My friend and I ended up cooking it together, making the white sauce with butter, flour and milk and the meat sauce with minced beef, passata and spices. We then layered it all up in an ovenproof dish using the new Sainsbury’s Courgette Lasagne Sheets instead of traditional lasagne sheets and sprinkling cheese on the top.

The new range also includes Butternut Lasagne Slices, Broccoli Rice, which is finely chopped broccoli, and more
