3Travelling with baby equipment
Eight was the magic number last Sunday. We kept counting to eight when we unloaded the car, embarked the bus from the car park and arrived at the terminal. We each had four pieces of luggage to look after – including one with sound effects.
I was the one in charge of Baby Girl’s Maclaren Quest with Baby Girl inside. She was not enjoying the number game as much as Daddy T and I. We were counting – and laughing. Partly because it was embarrassing to travel with more luggage than it’s possible for two people to comfortably carry.
I was pushing the stroller, carrying a packed changing bag and dragging Baby Girl’s travel cot on wheels behind me. Daddy T had a car seat around his arm, three bags on wheels behind him and one over his shoulder. It looked like we had never left the house before.
And there was no space in our bags for holiday shopping either. Not even a pack of chewing gum, according to Daddy T. That’s why we’ll have to count to nine on the way back, as Daddy T is determined to buy the biggest bag he sees. At least it will make the trip home enjoyable. We’ll have someone to laugh of – it’s just a pity that someone is us.
It’s never easy travelling with baby equipment so well done on only taking 8 bags!!
😀
Awesome! Eight is a lot.
Yes, it’s hard work travelling with all the baby equipment.. There’s so much stuff!
