Trunki launches customised children’s suitcases

On Monday, Baby Girl ended up going to bed a lot later than planned. She didn’t want to be disturbed while she was packing. She was in the middle of filling her brand new Made for Me Trunki, a sample we had received, with a wide selection of books and it was not a good time to suggest going to bed.

We were both so excited when designing the suitcase together the week before, so I didn’t really want to put an end to the fun now that it had arrived. The new suitcase was super cute, and perfect for a two-year-old who’s recently started getting her own seat and luggage allowance when flying.

I can’t wait to start travelling with the Trunki, which doubles as a ride-on toy.

And our new customised suitcase is not all pink. Baby Girl originally wanted to colour all the sections on the new suitcase pink, but during the design process I managed to convince her that it would be cool to mix in some other colours too.

It was great fun to sit in front of the computer together and try different colours. The Made for Me service offers customers 1 billion colour combinations, meaning you can make a really unique suitcase with different colours on the body, horns, nose, wheels, straps and more.

The only challenge for us was that there’s only one shade of pink!
